About the event
The solstice has been celebrated across cultures for thousands of years as a turning point—a return of the light.
Many ancient traditions (like Stonehenge in England or Newgrange in Ireland) built monuments aligned to the solstice sunrise.
Symbolically, it represents rebirth, renewal, and hope: light emerging out of darkness.
